Robert C. McLear, VMD, DACVR
Dr. McLear is a summa cum laude graduate of both the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He pursued radiology as a specialty following a year of advanced training in small animal medicine and surgery in an intensive internship program at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. McLear finished his imaging residency at the University of Pennsylvania in July, 2000, and was inducted as a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in December, 2000. He was the Treasurer of the American College of Veterinary Radiology from 2002-2014, and is the former Examination Director for the ACVR's national diagnostic imaging certification examination. He is also an imaging consultant for the Philadelphia Zoo. His interests outside of diagnostic imaging include computers, photography, running and hiking.
